Home visit cost
The cost depends on the district and time of the visit — call to clarify, it takes a minute. The study itself is the same as in the clinic: duplex ultrasound of both legs' veins with a consultation.
Important to know
At home I perform diagnostics and consultation. Procedures — EVLA, sclerotherapy, miniphlebectomy — are done only in the clinic: it is a matter of sterility and your safety. If the ultrasound shows treatment is indicated, we immediately agree on a convenient date at M-Clinic.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to prepare for a home vein ultrasound?
No special preparation is needed. You'll need a place to lie down and the ability to bare your legs. If you have previous ultrasound results and reports, have them ready — I'll review them.
Is a portable scanner as accurate?
For diagnosing venous pathology — yes: a modern portable scanner shows valves, reflux and vein patency. In rare complex cases I may recommend a follow-up study in the clinic.
Do you perform procedures at home?
No. Sclerotherapy, EVLA and other interventions are performed only in the clinic — a matter of sterility and safety. At home: examination, ultrasound, conclusion and plan.
How fast can you come, and do you work weekends?
